Indian athletes made an impressive start at the 2026 Asian Para Games, winning 11 medals on the opening day, including four gold, five silver and two bronze medals. Rinku secured gold in the javelin throw, while para archers Sheetal Devi and Payal Nag advanced to the compound archery final.
