Two opposing groups were called to a police outpost in Chaubepur Kanpur Nagar to resolve an ongoing dispute through mutual settlement. During the discussion an argument reportedly broke out which soon escalated into a violent clash.
According to reports, members of both groups allegedly assaulted each other and pelted stone creating panic inside the police outpost. Police personnel present at the scene intervened and later called for additional force to restore order.
Several bystanders recorded the incident on their mobile phones, and the videos soon spread across social media. Following the viral footage, police initiated an investigation to identify those involved. Authorities stated that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found responsible after the investigation is completed.
