A woman has filed a police complaint accusing a man she met at a gym of sexually assaulting her on the false promise of marriage. According to her complaint, the two became friends at the gym, and their relationship gradually became closer.
She alleged that the man often took her out in his Thar SUV and later to a flat, where he repeatedly established physical relations after assuring her that he would marry her. Trusting his promise, she continued the relationship.
The woman further claimed that after she became pregnant, she insisted on fixing a wedding date. During this period, she allegedly discovered that the man was already married and was the father of two children. She accused him of hiding this fact throughout their relationship.
After learning the truth, she confronted him, but he allegedly refused to marry her. Following the dispute, the woman approached the police and lodged a formal complaint.
Police have registered a case based on her allegations and have begun an investigation. Officials stated that statements from both parties are being recorded and further legal action will depend on the findings of the investigation.
