The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Council (JEECUP) will begin the third phase of counselling for diploma engineering admissions on July 17. Along with the counselling schedule, the council has also announced the annual fee structure for government, aided, PPP model, and private polytechnic institutions across the state.
According to the council, the annual first-year fee for government polytechnic institutes has been fixed at ₹12,000, while private polytechnic institutions will charge ₹30,000. Students have been advised to report any institution demanding fees above the approved limit.
Officials stated that strict action will be taken against institutions found violating the prescribed fee structure after verification of complaints.
More than 48,000 candidates have already completed the admission process and paid their fees during the first two counselling rounds. The third phase will fill the remaining vacant seats.
Admissions are being conducted across 156 government, 18 aided, 29 Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, and 162 private polytechnic institutes in Uttar Pradesh.
The council has also announced that counselling for pharmacy courses will begin on July 24.
