Son Kills Father Over ₹150 Crore Property Dispute

A shocking murder case has been reported from Modinagar in Ghaziabad, where a 32-year-old man allegedly shot and killed his father during a dispute over family property.

According to police, the incident took place late Wednesday night. The accused, identified as Nikhil, reportedly returned home after consuming alcohol. His father, Hariom Chaudhary (52), objected to his behavior, leading to a heated argument.

Police said the accused allegedly pulled out an illegal pistol and fired multiple shots at his father. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Family members present at the house tried to stop the violence but failed. Neighbours rushed to the spot after hearing gunshots.

Initial investigation suggests that the family owns property worth nearly ₹150 crore. Police said the accused had already received 25 bighas of land and several shops but was demanding the remaining property as well.

Officials also revealed that the accused had previously been involved in a shooting incident targeting his younger brother. He is currently absconding, and multiple police teams are searching for him.
