Rory McIlroy made history by winning the 2026 Masters, becoming only the fourth player to claim back-to-back titles at Augusta National.
Despite a strong start, he faced intense pressure in the final round as competitors like Scottie Scheffler and Justin Rose mounted serious challenges.
McIlroy, however, regained momentum during the crucial closing stretch, especially at the famous Amen Corner, and held his composure even after a few late mistakes.
On the final hole, he recovered brilliantly from a wayward drive and bunker trouble before calmly sinking the decisive putt to secure victory.
With this win, he joins legends such as Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo and Tiger Woods in achieving consecutive Masters titles, further strengthening his legacy in the game.
