New Twist in Gurugram Hit-and-Run Case, Rider Siya Makes Serious Allegations

The alleged hit-and-run case involving a woman biker on Gurugram’s Golf Course Road has taken a new turn. Rider Siya has released a video in which she alleged that the car driver first signalled her to stop and, when she continued riding for safety reasons, allegedly turned the car towards her motorcycle and hit it.

According to Siya, she was riding her Aprilia RS 457 sports bike when the incident took place. She alleged that a white Maruti Suzuki Ciaz was following or moving close to her during the ride. Siya claimed that the driver, identified by her as Kalyan Baisla, first signalled her to stop.

She said that she did not stop because she felt it was unsafe to do so and continued riding.

Allegation of Collision After Stop Signal

Siya alleged that after she did not stop, the driver turned the car towards her motorcycle and collided with it. She said the impact happened suddenly, leaving her with little opportunity to react.

The rider also claimed that part of the incident was captured by a camera mounted on another biker who was riding behind her. According to her, the footage shows the alleged stop signal from the car driver followed by the car moving towards her motorcycle.

However, whether the collision was intentional or occurred under other circumstances will have to be established through the police investigation and examination of the available evidence.

 Rider Thrown Onto the Road

Siya said the impact was so strong that she was thrown off her motorcycle and landed some distance away on the road. She also said that she continued to slide along the road after falling.

Other riders who were travelling behind her reportedly stopped and helped her get up. Siya described the incident as extremely serious and said the collision could have resulted in major injuries.

She further said that the impact could potentially have caused fractures and posed a serious threat to her life.

‘If He Was Sorry, Why Did He Leave?’

Siya also responded to an alleged expression of regret by the car driver. She said she had seen a video in which Kalyan Baisla reportedly expressed regret over the incident.

She questioned why the driver did not remain at the scene if he genuinely regretted what had happened.

According to Siya, leaving the location after a collision was a serious issue, particularly when the other person had fallen on the road and suffered injuries.

The complete version of the driver’s account and the circumstances surrounding his departure from the scene will be established during the investigation.

 Police Register Case Suo Motu

Gurugram Police has taken suo motu cognisance of the incident and registered a case at Sector 56 Police Station. At present, the woman has reportedly not submitted a written complaint to the police.

Police have identified the accused car driver and have formed three special teams to locate and apprehend him.

Investigators are examining the available video footage, vehicle details and other evidence related to the incident. They may also gather information from other riders and people who were present on the road at the time.

Multiple Videos Could Be Important Evidence

Several videos related to the incident have emerged and could become important evidence during the investigation.

Siya has specifically referred to footage recorded by a rider travelling behind her. She believes the footage could help establish the sequence of events immediately before the collision.

The footage may help investigators determine whether the driver signalled the woman to stop, how the car moved towards the motorcycle and what happened immediately before and after the impact.

Police will have to examine the videos carefully before drawing any conclusion about the circumstances of the collision.

Investigation Will Establish the Full Picture

The woman rider has made serious allegations, while the police have already initiated action by taking suo motu cognisance and registering a case.

With the identity of the accused driver established, the next major step for the police is to locate and question him and examine his version of events.

Video recordings, witness accounts and other available evidence are likely to play an important role in determining how the collision occurred and what happened immediately afterwards.

The incident has also renewed concerns about road safety and the security of bikers on busy roads. The final facts of the case will become clear after the police complete their investigation.
