Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday responded to the continuing deadlock in Parliament and offered to hold discussions on all issues raised by the Opposition.
Shah said the government is ready to discuss every matter, but the Opposition must allow Parliament to function. He proposed that the discussion could begin at 3 pm and said he would remain present in the House, listen to the issues raised by members and provide answers the following day at 3 pm.
The Home Minister said that the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is prepared to discuss any issue in Parliament and urged the Opposition to allow proceedings to continue.
Opposition Continues to Raise Several Issues
The statement comes at a time when the Opposition has been demanding discussions on several contentious issues in Parliament.
Among the issues being raised are allegations of irregularities involving donations received for the Ram Temple and the police action against students during protests at Jantar Mantar.
Opposition parties have also been demanding a response from the Home Minister over the police action against protesting students.

Amit Shah proposed that the discussion could begin at 3 pm. He said he would sit in the House and listen to what the Opposition had to say.
He further said that he would respond to the questions raised during the discussion at 3 pm the following day.
The proposal comes as the government attempts to address the prolonged disruption and create an opportunity for a structured debate in Parliament.
Opposition's Demands Remain Important
The Opposition has maintained that the issues behind the protests should be discussed in Parliament and that the government should provide clear answers.
The police action during the Jantar Mantar student protests has emerged as one of the key issues raised by Opposition parties.
