CJP Protest Resumes at Jantar Mantar After Parliament March

The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has resumed its protest at Jantar Mantar following the Parliament march in New Delhi. During the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the paper leak issue should not be politicized and assured strict punishment for those found guilty.

CJP leaders alleged excessive police action during the Parliament march. Abhijeet Deepke claimed protesters were subjected to brutality, while Sonam Wangchuk announced that he would continue his hunger strike and would not withdraw from the movement.

Delhi Police have registered multiple FIRs and launched an investigation using CCTV, drone footage, body camera recordings, and mobile videos to identify those involved in the violence. According to police, several personnel and protesters were injured, and public property was damaged.

MP Chandrashekhar Azad staged a protest inside the Parliament premises, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the paper leak issue and the police action during the protest.

Meanwhile, a delegation of CJP met Union Minister J.P. Nadda and presented three key demands, including the release of Sonam Wangchuk from the hospital, the resignation of the Education Minister, and compensation for the families of students who allegedly died by suicide in connection with the NEET issue.

Safdarjung Hospital stated that Sonam Wangchuk's condition remains stable, although his blood sugar level is below normal. The Delhi High Court has sought his medical report.

Security has been tightened across Delhi, especially at border checkpoints, as police continue surveillance and investigation.
