Sakshi Kumari, a resident of Machchhargawan Nagar Panchayat in Bettiah, has achieved success in the 70th BPSC Combined Competitive Examination by securing the post of Rural Development Officer (RDO).
Coming from a modest family, Sakshi is the daughter of Chandr Bhushan Prasad Jaiswal, who runs a grocery store, and homemaker Seema Devi. Her achievement has brought pride and happiness to the entire region.
Sakshi completed her early education at Adarsh High School in her village. Later, she studied at Ram Roop Goswami Inter College and gained statewide recognition by becoming the Bihar Board Arts topper in 2020.
She completed her graduation from Baba Bhutnath Degree College, Bagaha, with first-class marks in 2024. After graduation, she began preparing for competitive examinations and succeeded in clearing the BPSC exam in her very first attempt.
Sakshi revealed that she has also appeared for the 71st BPSC Combined Examination and has been shortlisted for the interview stage. Her next goal is to qualify for the UPSC examination.
She credited her success to the trust and support of her parents and emphasized that girls can achieve success in any field when given equal opportunities and encouragement.
