Gunmen Open Fire at Congress MLA's Office in Rohtak, Security Concerns Raised

Rohtak: Panic spread in Haryana's Rohtak district on Saturday morning after unidentified gunmen opened fire at the office of Congress MLA Balram Dangi, who represents the Meham Assembly constituency.

According to initial reports, the attackers fired multiple rounds at the office. Bullets pierced through the office windows, leaving shattered glass scattered across the premises and causing alarm among those present.

The incident has drawn particular attention because the MLA's office is located directly opposite the Meham police station. The daring attack near a police facility has raised serious questions about security arrangements in the area.

Police teams rushed to the scene shortly after receiving information and began an investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that four to five rounds were fired during the attack.

Authorities are currently examining CCTV footage from nearby locations to identify the suspects. Police officials said efforts are underway to trace and arrest those responsible, while the motive behind the firing remains under investigation.
