Kangana Reacts to Jantar Mantar Apology Video

New Delhi: BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut has reacted to the apology video of a teenage girl who allegedly made objectionable remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. Sharing her views on social media, Kangana raised concerns about the political influence on children, parenting, and the responsibility of society. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also addressed the controversy, saying that children should be guided in the right direction rather than punished for their mistakes.

The controversy began after a video from the Jantar Mantar protest surfaced online, in which a teenage girl was allegedly heard using objectionable language against the Prime Minister. Soon afterward, another video of the same girl went viral in which she publicly apologized for her remarks. In the video, she expressed regret over her actions and said she would never repeat such a mistake in the future. She also stated that she had spoken under the influence of people around her and now realized her mistake.

Reacting to the apology video, Kangana Ranaut shared a post on her social media account. She wrote that the teenager herself had admitted she had never posted or spoken against Prime Minister Modi before, but allegedly ended up making those remarks after being influenced by people present at the protest. Kangana appealed to parents to pay closer attention to their children and protect them from ideological or political influence at a young age.

In her post, Kangana also said that society needs to reflect on why young children become involved in such controversies. She emphasized that families and society share the responsibility of protecting children, shaping their thinking, and securing their future.

The teenage girl, in her apology video, said she was ashamed of what she had said and apologized to the people of the country. She admitted that she had spoken without thinking and deeply regretted her actions. Following the release of the video, the issue became widely discussed across social media platforms.

Earlier reports had also suggested that a police case was registered in connection with the alleged objectionable remarks made against the Prime Minister during the protest. However, the teenager claimed that she was only around 15 years old.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also commented on the incident. He said that the entire country had witnessed what happened at Jantar Mantar and that a few children had used language that was unacceptable in any civilized society. He added that offensive remarks were directed not only at him but also at his late mother, which he described as deeply painful.

The Prime Minister further said that children often make mistakes while growing up, and the same stage of life also offers them an opportunity to correct those mistakes. He acknowledged that public anger over the incident was understandable but stressed that the time had come to embrace these children and guide them toward the right path rather than rejecting them.

He said he wanted to forgive the children involved and appealed to society to accept them and help them learn from their mistakes. Using an analogy, he said that just as people do not break their teeth when the tongue is accidentally bitten because both belong to the same body, children too are part of society and deserve guidance rather than hatred.

The incident has since sparked widespread debate online and in political circles. While some people welcomed the teenager's apology and supported giving her a second chance, others continued to debate the political and social aspects of the controversy.
