The mother of Pune-based real estate businessman Ketan Agrawal has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for justice in her son's murder case. In an emotional letter, Rakhi Agrawal said she is not asking for sympathy or special treatment but only wants the accused to receive the strictest punishment under the law.

In her letter, she wrote that she never imagined she would one day have to seek justice for her own son. Like every mother, she had hoped Ketan would build a happy life, get married and continue supporting the family. Instead, she was forced to perform his last rites.

Rakhi Agrawal said her son's death has shattered the entire family. She described Ketan as the centre of their lives, saying every corner of the house reminds them of him. She also revealed that the grief proved unbearable for the family, and Ketan's grandfather passed away about 20 days after the incident.

Appealing directly to the Prime Minister, she requested that the case be treated with urgency and that justice should not be delayed. She urged the authorities not to let Ketan become just another case file, saying he was a son, grandson and brother, but to her he was her entire world.

According to the police investigation, Ketan Agrawal died on June 18. The case was initially treated as an accidental death, but further investigation revealed it to be a planned murder. Police later arrested Ketan's fiancée Siya Goyal and her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary.

Investigators allege that the two conspired to kill Ketan during a trip to Lohagad Fort by pushing him off a cliff. Police say digital evidence, CCTV footage, witness statements and other forensic findings support the allegation of a pre-planned murder.

Both accused are currently in judicial custody while the investigation continues.
