Actor Riteish Deshmukh appeared visibly annoyed during the launch event of Lock Upp Season 2 after a reporter asked him a question involving Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt.
During the event, Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan were introducing the show's contestants when a reporter referred to the actors' past jail-related controversies and asked whether he would invite them to the show and what punishment he would give them.
The question did not sit well with Riteish, who immediately responded that he did not wish to give importance to such a question by answering it.
When the reporter defended the query as a normal question, Riteish reiterated that he was not involved in selecting contestants for the show and that his responsibility was only to host the programme.
He further explained that as a host, he simply interacts with the participants and is not informed in advance about who will be joining the reality show.
Lock Upp Season 2 is set to return with the theme "Truth or Punishment" and is expected to feature several well-known personalities from the entertainment industry.
