US-Iran Tensions Rise After Fresh Military Strikes

Military tensions between the United States and Iran have escalated following a fresh exchange of strikes.

The US launched missile and drone attacks on multiple strategic locations across Iran, including Bandar Abbas, Bushehr, Jask, Ahvaz, Abadan, Khorramshahr and other areas.

In response, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it targeted US military facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain. According to the group, Ali Al Salem Air Base, Ahmad Al Jaber Air Base and Sheikh Isa Air Base were attacked. These claims have not been independently verified.

Iranian officials also stated that protecting the Strait of Hormuz remains a top national priority.

Meanwhile, an attack on a civilian vessel near Oman left one Indian national missing, while ten others were rescued safely. India condemned attacks on civilian shipping and called for restraint.

US officials said more than 300 Iranian military targets have been struck in recent operations. Iran also claimed it destroyed US HIMARS launchers and missile storage facilities in Kuwait, although no independent confirmation has been issued.

The latest developments have raised concerns about regional security across the Middle East.
