Women's Football Coach Banned for Secret Filming of Players
European football authorities have handed a lifetime ban to former Czech women’s football coach Petr Vlachovsky after he was found guilty of secretly filming players inside changing rooms.
In an official statement, UEFA confirmed that its disciplinary body banned Vlachovsky from all football-related activities for life following an investigation into serious misconduct allegations.

Authorities also requested that the ban be enforced globally and urged the Czech football federation to revoke his coaching licence permanently.
Reports from the Czech Republic said Vlachovsky was convicted in May 2025 and received a suspended one-year prison sentence along with a five-year domestic coaching ban. The case involved hidden recordings of players at FC Slovacko, including minors, with the youngest player reportedly aged 17.

According to court documents cited in local reports, Vlachovsky admitted to the acts and expressed regret during the proceedings.
The coach had previously worked with the Czech women’s Under-19 national team, raising wider concerns over player safety and safeguarding standards in women’s football.

FC Slovacko said the club immediately ended its association with the coach once the allegations surfaced and fully cooperated with investigators throughout the case.
The club added that the matter had deeply affected the players involved and stressed that protecting athletes remained a top priority.

Global football players’ union FIFPRO welcomed the decision, saying the punishment sends a strong message that abusive behaviour and violations of player privacy have no place in football.
