Yogi Says Uttar Pradesh Is Now A Festival State

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing a public gathering in Mainpuri, highlighted his government's achievements in maintaining law and order and promoting development across the state. He stated that Uttar Pradesh has undergone a significant transformation over the past few years and is now known for peace, development, and cultural celebrations instead of unrest and violence.

The Chief Minister said there was a time when the state frequently made headlines due to riots, crime, and insecurity. However, according to him, the situation has changed considerably with stricter law enforcement and improved governance.

During his address, Yogi Adityanath remarked, *"Today Uttar Pradesh is no longer a state of unrest but a festival state."* He said the state is witnessing peaceful religious, cultural, and public celebrations, reflecting a new image of Uttar Pradesh before the country and the world.

Sending a strong message to criminals, the Chief Minister stated that *"Only two places are left for criminals in Uttar Pradesh—jail or hell."* He emphasized that his government follows a zero-tolerance policy against crime and that legal action is being taken without discrimination against those who violate the law.

He further claimed that improved law and order has encouraged investment in the state, leading to industrial growth, infrastructure development, and new employment opportunities. According to him, the better security environment has made Uttar Pradesh an attractive destination for investors.

The Chief Minister also highlighted ongoing development projects related to roads, electricity, healthcare, education, and public infrastructure. He urged citizens to cooperate in maintaining peace and contribute to the state's continued development.

His remarks have sparked political discussions, with supporters describing them as a reflection of stronger governance, while opposition parties are expected to question the claims and present their own assessment of the state's law-and-order situation.
