The Electricity Department has announced that power supply from the Piprahiya Feeder will remain suspended for two consecutive days, July 7 and July 8, due to scheduled maintenance work.
According to officials, the shutdown is necessary to carry out repairs equipment inspections, and technical upgrades aimed at ensuring a more stable and uninterrupted electricity supply in the future.
Power will remain unavailable for approximately 8 hours each day, affecting homes, shops, and other establishments connected to the feeder. Residents are advised to charge essential electronic devices, store sufficient drinking water if required, and plan their daily activities accordingly.
The department has appealed to consumers to cooperate with the maintenance work and assured that every effort will be made to restore electricity as soon as the work is completed. Any inconvenience caused during the maintenance period is regretted.
