Flydubai Flight Makes Safe Emergency Landing in Lucknow

A Flydubai flight arriving from Dubai made a safe emergency landing at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow on Saturday morning after experiencing a bird strike during its final approach.
After detecting the impact, the pilot immediately informed Air Traffic Control (ATC) and requested priority landing. Airport authorities cleared the runway without delay, allowing the aircraft to land safely.
All 163 passengers and crew members were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported. Following the landing, the aircraft was moved to the parking bay for a detailed technical inspection.
Officials stated that the aircraft will be cleared for its next flight only after all safety checks are completed successfully. The inspection caused a significant delay in the aircraft's scheduled return journey to Dubai.
A bird strike occurs when a bird collides with an aircraft, usually during take-off or landing. Such incidents can potentially damage aircraft engines or other critical components, making a thorough inspection mandatory before further operations.
Some passengers scheduled to travel to Dubai chose to cancel their bookings, while others remained at the airport awaiting updates on the flight's departure.
