Bharat Tiwari Case Sparks Fresh Political Controversy

Ara, Bihar: The case of Bharat Bhushan Tiwari, who died in a police encounter in Bhojpur district's Bilauti village, has once again become the center of political debate.

The controversy intensified after members of Tiwari's family accused Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor of assuring them that justice would be delivered within 15 days before allegedly requesting their support in campaigning for the Bankipur Assembly by-election.

According to the family, they were initially approached with assurances regarding justice. They later claim they were asked to participate in election campaigning for Jan Suraaj. The family alleges that political support was sought while they were waiting for action in the case.

A video circulating on social media has further fueled the controversy. In the video, Bharat Tiwari's mother is seen allegedly claiming that she was asked to accompany political workers during the election campaign. Other family members also appear to make similar allegations.

However, the authenticity of the viral video has not been independently verified.

Responding to the allegations, Jan Suraaj rejected the claims, calling them false, baseless, and politically motivated. The party stated that it has always stood with the family on humanitarian grounds and denied seeking any political benefit from the incident.

The issue has also triggered reactions from political leaders. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari criticized the alleged political use of the victim's family, saying such sensitive matters should not become part of election campaigns.

Independent MP Pappu Yadav also commented on the issue, alleging that pressure was put on the family to campaign. He demanded a fair investigation while emphasizing that justice for the family should remain the priority.

The Bharat Tiwari case has already generated significant political attention in Bihar. With fresh allegations and counterclaims emerging, the matter continues to remain at the center of public and political discussion.
